Unable to proceed with update help!

This is really starting to annoy me. Ive tried allsorts but can someon explain and tell me what to do when this happens
I keep going onto the update/start screen and its ALWAYS says 'Client running' then 'unable to proceed with update.' i really wanna play can someone plz explain where ive gone wrong in simple terms, im not the best with computer!

iam sorta having the same problem what happens is i lauch game it tells me theres updates avalible i hit update then i choose the default that comes up the imspw server i hit confirm then it vanishs
