Help with Patching?

Hello,
Firstly i am not an idiot and i used to play on this server a long time ago
i just decided i want to play it again
so i downloaded a fresh perfect world and installed it (off the official perfect world international website)
i did NOT auto patch it
ive tried manually selecting the 44-46 patch off of the LMSPW download section and it says something about the patch being too old?
ive tried the LMSPWPatch44.exe and i get the "File Folder Corrupt" Error
i have re-installed perfect world, 4 times now and i have not discoverd how to get it to work
please help if you can, and i want to try and avoid the LMSPW Client if possible, i just want to use the real client with the LMSPW Patches

You will need a PWI client with at least version 124 - 166. You CANNOT patch LMSPW Patch44 with an empty PWI client.
Google for PWI cup file 1-52, 52-124. Update the PWI client to ver. 124, and then start with the LMSPW Patch 44, and go on.
