Black Screen

Actually a friend's problem. While she's in game she gets black screens which disperse after a few secs but re-occurs frequently. Not sure if this is a hardware problem since we were playing a game that had higher system requirements than perfect world, and has not experienced anything like this...

Any advice would be helpful

I got similliar problem but I am ok with it. I am getting no black screen when being in game but when the game is minimalised I get the lasting a few seconds black screens every time I switch or minimalise programs (lets say Firefox).

So I quess your friend has a program in background that is interfering with the game and runing while the game is on. Tell her to turn off all other programs (like skype etc). The program can be hidden so she should check her "Autostart" folder and - if smart enough - run the "msconfig" command (Start -> Run) to find programs running at start. Holding ctrl+shoft+delete would also help finding the interfering program.

But as I say - this is just a quess.
