pw crashes in win xp

what i did to play was i downloaded patch44 then installed the pw international client then i did not patch it as said in the guide. after that i installed patch 44 to pw international folder, patched lmspw up. but when i start the game, after the loading screen before entering user and password, it just suddenly crashes with no errors, i even restarted my computer and re-runned it. still nothing happened.

anyone please help me.

Patching the latest PWI version will not work. I'd suggest for you to download the LMS client.
