Help with pet

Maybe it's just me but I can't seem to get rid of an unneeded pet I have whenever I go to a pet master and try to restore it whenever I click on my pet the pet restore window disappears. so how do I get rid of it?

you need to pull pet icon from pet panel to restore to egg panel
