was wondering about a few things (i came from pwi so i'll be using pwi terminology =S hope you guys'll understand >.<)

1. Where and how do you acquire the fragments for warsoul gear?

2. How do you acquire lunar weaps?

3. How do you get the high lv shards? e.g. the -6 channel and +20 const shards

1. all fb19 are modified, they are fb119 now, all steles and stones you can drop there (mostly from mobs and some from bosses)
2. buy mats in item mail or forges in DC west or south
3. LMS coin NPC (ADC west) - spend your coins - 3d tab. buy coins in this forge before that

another question(s), when you buy HH mats from the item mall, do they come in bulk or just one piece? also are socket stones available from the item mall? cant seem to find them if they are...

Each piece of material is separate. As Marengo said, you can buy item mall stuff from NPC using LMS silver coins. It's cheaper than buy with cubi from item mall due to the fact that 1 LMS silver is 20k gold and 1 cubi can be 400k at auction master (depends on the ppl that sell them).
Sockets are not available. For 10$ donation admin will max your sockets on weapon or armor (check donation page!)

well since the pw$ trading sect of the AH is always empty I guess I'll have to just buy the coins from the item mall

In adc west you might notice some forges. One of them is named LMS coins.That is where you get the coins from and that is where you buy stuff with coins too.

i noticed that. is it cheaper to buy there than from cubis?

and am also wondering about weapon choice... and gear path in general

in pwi, i went the tt path (tt80 glaive > tt90 glaive > tt99 glaive and all full tt armour and accessories), there's just so many types to choose from here tho :S tt, lunar, ff, warsoul and i was wondering which would be more worth it in the long run to get? weapons and/or armour

At auctoin master 1 cubi= around 300k+
1 LMS silver= 20k
10 LMS silver = 1 cubi in item mall.

in the description of the refining orbs, e.g. green sea dragon ball, it says 1-10 upgrade 100% success.

does that mean it immediately refines something from +0 to +10? or does it just prevent the refine from going back to +0 if refining fails?

lvl 1 orbs give you 100% chance to refine to +1
lvl 2 orbs give you 100% chance to refine to +1 and +2
lvl 3 orbs give you 100% chance to refine to +1 +2 +3
