PROBLEM!!

Ok I'm new to private servers but I can read, so i followed the directions and downloaded the patch. I installed that and the item mall update on the main page. I type in my username and password on the main screen, ir says its logging in but then goes back and says LINK - Error in server and Network. How do I correct this so i can create a character and play??
