Help with Item Drops

I am a lvl 70 WereFox.
I have a question regarding the item drop rates.
When i am lvling killing mobs i mostly get only Gold and every 4th mob i kill drops some crafting material,rarely some items.
according to the perfect world monster database ..mobs drop a lot of stuff with a rare chance like 2% to 0.2% or so.
with the 200x servers item drop rate of 500x should'nt i see a lot of items drop?
so far i have seen only 3 pieces of worthless armour from mobs after like 3 or 4 hours of grinding. Is this normal or a bug?

This is normal. The Item drop rates are not changed, only the gold drop rates. Besides, with the rate that gold drops, you can buy common materials faster than you can grind for them. Go to the Crafting Materials furnace in ADC West.
