Severely need help!!!pleeeease!!!

A friend and I have spent the better part of 4 days getting the LMSPW to work on my PC - finally all the corrupt files were replaced - but now when I try to launch the game - the screen goes black i get the hour glass like it is going to launch then nothing it stops.

theres an issue with the patcher.
basically, just run it until it doesnt zip through the patching process. it did that to me too until i made sure it
went slow and actually extracted all the files. :/
eventually i got the thing to work, but it was after several tries, so you may have to do so as well...
