Maybe I misunderstood. I can't find it now. I think it had something to do with armor selection.

To be honest the best part about being a GM is the ability to truly and ultimately help people in the game. Where you have the power to actually fix something if things go wrong.

Forget what rewards or payment you may get, do it for the ability to say "Yes, I can help you" and know it makes that person feel better.

yeah .. .
i realy love when they said "Thank You, GM" after i helped them on some items transaction.
i have nothing as my skills but love to serve the community.
dedication ? i've spent almost 14hrs a day on my GM character.
am i tired? of course i am . but it's fun...
do i get reward ? nothing but a set of GM items  ... oh, forgot to mention about no one can kill you  ...

well, it's my first day on lmspw (200x)
i'll wait my time in next 2 month ;)

Applications for GM are different than riding the pony. You can't say "pls let me do it! " in this case. Knowing much about a game does not mean you are fit for the job.Besides there are a lot of competent people that are qualified for this and prefer not to get involved because GM's task is not only to answer questions for noobs. It implies a lot of responsability and time.I am sure that once you would be appointed as GM you will want to quit it.

You can help people very easy without being a GM. You can answer their questions, hold events for them (not all events need GM powers) and also you can help in many other ways.
