... how to download the private sever itself. Is it the patches itself I have to download??? I dunno I confused.... any help would be appriciated... someone told me to download this PS it would help to uninstall PW and reinstall it then install this PS. Is that true?? Any links/help will get a great big thanks. I'm sure you guys get this alot, and I'm sorry for adding to it.

I'd suggest getting a clean copy of PWI so you can make sure its fully updated. Go back to http://www.lmspw.com and check the top left corner to see the quick start guide. If you need a fresh PWI you can get it from step 1, if you have to do this part, make sure to patch it before installing anything or it can act up.

After thats out of the way download the Animation Patch, then the LMSPW patch. Third is a DNS hotfix, its the third announcemnt on the front page or here: http://www.lmspw.com/LMS-PWHotfix2009.03.10.exe

Just install em in that order and it should be fine.

Now do I do the patches on this site or do I let the game do it's own patches???

Let PWI auto patch before installing anything, gotta boot it up after the install (can take I think around 10-20 minutes). Then you can install the 3 server files. Animation, LMSPW then the Hotfix.

quick tip for PWI's own updates.

Go to their site (pwi.perfectworld.com) and download the manual patch (eg. v1-106) That should speed up that part of the patching a lot, since otherwise it would need to download, initiate, install, and finalize each and every patch by it self.

Yeah... the patching process only takes about 30 seconds for me, I can run PW on all high settings and it won't lag or anything... let me tell you, it looks great!!! Anyone jealous? Anyway thanks! I'll be joining LMS on pW soon!

hmmmm... for somereason the quick start download for PW doesn't work, I can save it to my PC, but I can't install them... that's okay I'll just download from PW.com

That's the thing I did... it won't install... it'll save but not install I get some error message

Now it won't let me open your guy's private server!!

It comes up with an error message that says:

Any ideas? I tried open the desktop icon, the 100x and 2x and same thing. I really want to play with you guys
