x1000 is indeed more pvp and Descent more PvE, the community is quite normal/friendly, you can always ask in world chat for help with things if needed, the amount of players on can be different depending on the timezone you're in.
If you have any more/other questions feel free to ask them.
P.S. edited your post to change the text color, neon green/dark blue and such can be difficult to read or may hurt the eyes of some people, you can use other colors if you want.
