Refering to your point about the can of worms. He has opened his, and the worms are already on the loose and he has that to account for. It wil not help to open a 2nd can of worms but we should release, in its stead, birds to clear the worms.

I'm noticing the same trend on 200X. A lot of the people who are online complain of boredom and I must confess the feeling myself at times. I know Vyp and Ora have been there but I'm going to insert a shameless plug for my Suggestions thread 8-D. http://perfectworld.yo1cam.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8552 The game has a bit more potential than what's available to us here, I was hoping to explore ways to take advantage of that within the existing client.
But I'm not so sure that most of the players we've lost will come back at some point. By nature, private server populations are much more transient than official servers. Having been a player GM on a few private servers with other games, its my experience that player retention is a bit more delicate than one may think.
The general private server playing community at best subconsciously anticipates some measure of corruption and favoritism because they've seen it happen on one server or another. This will in turn automatically effect the rate of players' donations VS. what the same player might do on an official server.
Add rumors and accusations and that donation rate falls even more, potentially to the point of effecting the servers financial stability. I'm not making this up. I've seen too many nice people try to host a really nice server only to have some competitor or a$$hole players ruin the thing for everyone else. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen here.

Lol, believe it! Yes that's a nice analogy. If we can take it a step further, I believe the birds might be the players who can come together in some measure of friendship and unity to help clean it up. First and foremost Id like to apologize to LMS for this being brought out into the public like this and for that Im sorry.

For me, this was never about, nor have I stated, that you were hacking, cheating, or any of the heinous things that have been presented in this post about what I have said about you. For me, it was about a few select div players ridiculing me for donating and not "earning" what I have. I was told many times that the only reason im good is because I donate.....well I must say, the only reason im good is because I have played retail for 3 years, p-servers for 2 and I know this game in and out better than most. I have played every class to 150 and have experienced everything and EARNED everything in this game. Now, I come here, I dont want to spend a few months earning something I can get in a few days by donating and at the same time help the server I play on financially.
I thought we did settle this and I haven't brought it up since so you might want to get your facts straight Elijah.

As for the rest of LMSPW, I apologize to you that you must hear this nonsense DRAG ON after we have more or less gave up and left the server but I petition you to not listen to the judgements coming out of mine or eldarwenes mouths, I ask you to make up your own minds as alot have and love your server and support your server so hopefully it will grow. Id like to say alot more but id like this to die, We have moved on now to a better place and I will be here every once in awhile checking in on friends and comrades so be well and have fun!

First off, I do not owe you an apology for I have never spoken to you in game or out of game until now.The ones I do apologize to are LMS and the players of LMSPW for voicing my opinion in WC. If you had of been there this day you spoke of then you would know exactly what I did or didn't say. Let me quote my exact words for you on my opinion of Divinity that day. I was asked to try Div, I might find I liked it. I stated and still remain firm on this * I wouldn't join Divinity if I was dying of thirst*. LMS was present there during the entire WC conversation, and yes LMS in very aware of the issues I had with LMSPW. Secondly, I have never stated that div members were azz's,hackers or etc. as you so eloquently accused. The only person I called an azz wipe was Xiaoy for what he did on a seperate occasion, which is of no concern to you. There is a wise old saying *The truth hurts* and that I will not apologize for. LMS is a great guy, but as I have told him he is blinded by who he has in place to govern the server. How or why you came up with donations being an issue I have no clue nor do I give a flying crap. However, I stopped donations of 400.00 a month if not more, because I refuse to help support the behind the scene crap that the GM's get by with, and allow their cronies to get by with as well. As, for the entirety of everything that is not any of your business and is no concern of yours.
