Kill WF pets in safe zone?!

Post by iferget » 07 Oct 2010, 20:17

I just found out that you can kill a WF's battle pet in a safezone. That isn't right. Is it a bug? A WF's pet is part if them (consider it a weapon or a skill), there's no other class that can have their weapon or skill disabled in a safezone.

wf pets are npc's. they are not weapons. They are classified as mobs, so they are attackable by a player that is outside sz

It is possible to kill them when dueling a WF but I don't see any problem in that. Pet is a WF skill, ability so can be disturbed - it is not a part of character itself. And the WF can still use other pet to win ;).

Unless you can kill a WF pet in safe zone when not dueling them - it would be a bug. But I have never seen anything like that.

I turns out the attackers were outside the SZ shooting into it (ranged attacks). But yes, the WF and pet were in the SZ (which really pissed her off because she would just get her pet buffed to go back and they would kill it before she left the SZ)
